Hi everyone! It's Australia Day and ventured outside of Sydney for a quick holiday. But there's nothing quick about this place. In fact, it's been building up (and down) for 340 million years! These strange formations are living crystals (made from calcite and aragonite) which grow approximately 1cm every 100 years...
This place holds a lot of historic significance for Australia and is truly unique in this world. The area is quite extensive and it's possible to get lost in here. Skeletons of lost animals have been found... I hope you can find me!
